The C.S. Lewis Study Center, Northfield

GP-across-highway-edit-2Housed in a beautiful Victorian residence, built in 1885 and home to the Moody family for  nearly 100 years, the C.S. Lewis Study Center at Northfield is envisioned as a focal point of Christian hospitality, study, reflection, and learned conversation in New England.

The home of the Study Center, Green Pastures, was purchased by the C.S. Lewis Foundation on September 18, 2013.

The C.S. Lewis Study Center’s programs will be an embodiment of C.S. Lewis’s concept of “Mere Christianity,” inviting the participation of Christians from all historic communions, and welcoming all in the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty.

The Study Center at Northfield will be modeled after the C.S. Lewis Study Centre at The Kilns, Oxford — the historic home of C. S. Lewis which has been owned and operated by the C. S. Lewis Foundation for 25 years.
